Nicholas McGegan, Philharmonia Baroque’s Music Director Laureate, is joined by Grammy Award–winning tenor Aaron Sheehan and soprano Nola Richardson for Rameau’s opera La Guirlande. One of the first French Baroque operas to be revived in the modern era, it tells an archetypal story of infidelity and forgiveness. Handel’s Dixit Dominus, a pressing choral setting of Psalm 110, opens the concert.
Concert starts at 1:00 pm.
