With matches hosted at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Silicon Valley is the closest and most convenient place to experience the World Cup in the Bay Area. The excitement extends far beyond the stadium itself, with fan zones, watch parties, themed dining, and festivals happening across the region - giving visitors the chance to stay right near the action while enjoying the full World Cup atmosphere before, during, and after every match.
World Cup Action at Levi’s Stadium
Levi’s Stadium will host six World Cup games, including five group stage matches and one Round of 32 knockout game. The following matches are set for the South Bay:
• June 13: Group Stage (Qatar vs. Switzerland)
• June 16: Group Stage (Austria vs. Jordan)
• June 19: Group Stage (Turkey vs. Paraguay)
• June 22: Group Stage (Jordan vs. Algeria)
• June 25: Group Stage (Paraguay vs. Australia)
• July 1: Round of 32 (Knockout Match)
Watch Every Match in Downtown San Jose
Beyond the on-field action, Silicon Valley’s professional soccer team, the San Jose Earthquakes, is transforming downtown San Jose’s San Pedro Square Market into a free fan zone and watch party throughout the World Cup from June 11–July 19.
Highlights include broadcasting all 104 matches on two giant screens at San Pedro Square while also featuring interactive fan zones, special merchandise, meet-and-greets, and World Cup-themed menu items from local vendors. Fans will also be able to view a giant version of the adidas Trionda match ball that will serve as a central gathering point for fans.
Food, Drinks, and Match Day Atmosphere
Another five-week World Cup celebration is taking place at Santana Row, which is hosting The Row Cup, featuring exclusive restaurant menus, themed cocktails, live music, game day happy hours, and an official FIFA merchandise pop-up shop.
Additional highlights include watch parties at more than 15 restaurants, including El Jardin Tequila Bar, Fogo de Chao, Left Bank Brasserie, LB Steak, Meso Modern Mediterranean, Straits, Suspiro, Yard House, and Zazil.
Within walking distance of Levi’s Stadium, Clara’s Junction sports bar is hosting pre-parties, live game viewings, and post-game celebrations throughout the World Cup. Match Day Packages (e.g., $30) are available and include unlimited buffet access and full game viewing on large screens. On non-stadium days, regular table reservations are available for fans wanting to catch all of the World Cup action.

Fans looking to explore beyond Santa Clara can also find World Cup festivities throughout neighboring communities.
The nearby city of Sunnyvale is also a premier hub for World Cup festivities, anchored by the official Sunnyvale World Soccer & Food Fest at Cityline Sunnyvale on June 20–21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Alongside global food vendors and retail and artisan booths, this massive fan zone features the city’s largest outdoor live match screenings, complete with a beer and wine garden.

In the town of Los Gatos, Brazil’s headquarters during its World Cup-winning campaign in 1994, fans can watch the competition at downtown sports hubs like Double D's Sports Grille and local favorite Aldo's Ristorante. Both broadcast matches on their big screens.
Further south, Morgan Hill is hosting a Soccer Kick Off Festival at the Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Center on June 13. The free, family-friendly community celebration is meant to honor local soccer and help kick off the region’s FIFA World Cup games.
The city of Mountain View is hosting local watch parties and fan zones throughout the downtown Castro Street area while also establishing an entertainment zone where fans can enjoy outdoor refreshments. Fans with match tickets can take a short Caltrain ride directly to Levi’s Stadium.
