Levi’s Stadium is offering private and public Super Bowl 50 tours until gameday, which consists of a tour of the 49ers Museum along with a special exhibit highlighting the golden anniversary and the history of the big game.

A Little Bit of Super Bowl History in the Bay Area

The last (and only) time the Super Bowl was held in the Bay Area dates back to 1985 for Super Bowl XIX when the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Miami Dolphins at the Stanford Stadium. Super Bowl interest and ability to reach people is growing year after year as you can see in the number of people who viewed the game in 1985 at 85.5 million and just this last year reached 114.4 million people, and the upcoming Super Bowl 50 will continue on this pattern no doubt.
